grantee organizations, communities, and other stakeholders in Mexico, Haiti, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

The Opportunity
The Program Specialist – International Programs (Mexico Team) plays an essential role in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with grant seekers, grantees, and internal and external partners by applying Foundation best practices. Through a combination of technical assistance, systems support, and administrative coordination, the Program Specialist helps advance all aspects of WKKF’s programming efforts in Mexico and the broader Latin America and Caribbean region.
This dynamic, detail-oriented position supports the operational and relational needs of community-centered grantmaking. The Program Specialist serves as a key connector between WKKF and its partners, many of whom are grassroots or Indigenous-led organizations operating in historically underfunded regions. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, cultural fluency, and a quality customer service orientation that ensures all partners feel respected and supported as they navigate foundation systems.
